  • EPC Europe GmbH was founded in October 1990 as EPC Consulting GmbH by Mr. Erhard R. Pawelzik in Bad Homburg, Germany. In 2002, ownership and name changed to EPC Europe GmbH, headquartered in Hamburg.

    The founder’s then already 40 years experience in the Chemical Industry, of which 16 years in various managerial assignments in the Far East encouraged him to venture into China-trade. The decision coincided with the opening and reform policy of the Deng Xiao Ping era. EPC Consulting was conceived as a trade services company rather than a trading company (which would have to compete with established traders and distributors in this field).
